STX OSV books offshore vessel contract

STX OSV, builder of offshore vessels, secured a contract to design and construct one platform supply vessel (PSV) for Troms Offshore Supply.The 3,800 dwt PSV, to be built

at STX OSV Braila in Romania and towed to STX OSV Brevik in Norway for outfitting, is scheduled to be delivered in the first-quarter of 2013.
Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
STX OSV already has one PSV under construction for Norway-based Troms Offshore Supply. The vessel is slated for delivery in 2012.
