South Korea: Zhenhua Completes Busan Newport Crane Project
On August 16, “Zhenhua 13” vessel loaded with six cranes for Busan Newport arrived in Korea, marking the wrap-up of the 38 rail-mounted crane project for Phase 2-3
of Busan Newport undertaken by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
Since contracting with Busan Newport in 2004, Zhenhua has undertaken the task of manufacturing all equipment for the port, and has delivered 195 units so far. Now Busan boasts the world’s greatest number of, most advanced and efficient automatic rail-mounted cranes as the world’s largest automatic terminal.
The completion of the project will further enhance Zhenhua’s reputation in the port machinery market and consolidate its lead in the world port machinery field.
