CSSC Guangzhou to Build Tanker for Shanghai NorthSea Shipping

CSSC Guangzhou Longxue Shipbuilding has signed a contract with Shanghai NorthSea Shipping to build a 115,000dwt tanker.The company has not disclosed the

newbuild price and delivery schedule.
The shipbuilding company said it also has intellectual property rights on the ship type, including 308,000dwt VLCCs (very large crude carriers), 320,000dwt VLCCs and 76,000dwt tankers.
The company expects further orders for this type of ship in the future, according to asiasis.com.
