Yangzijiang Shipbuilding secures orders for six bulk carriers
Chinese shipping company Hua Yang International Marine has placed orders for six bulk carriers with China-based Yangzijiang Shipbuilding. The contract, for which the pricing remains undisclosed, entails the construction of two panamax bulk carriers, two handymaxes and four 47,500dwt bulk carriers. Singapore-listed Yangzijiang Shipbuilding boasts an annual shipbuilding capacity of over 1m tons.
