China Shipbuilding Generated Net Profit Of 797M Yuan
China Shipbuilding Industry recorded a 15.92 percent year-on-year increase in net profit to 797 million yuan in the first half of 2010, reports Yicai.com citing a company filing Earnings per share was RMB 0.12 in the first half of 2010.
Revenue climbed 4.8 percent year-on-year to 8.84 billion yuan during the same period.
Revenue from ship accessories fell 16.78 percent year-on-year to 6.44 billion yuan while revenue from energy and transportation equipment leapt 78.83 percent year-on-year to 2.26 billion.
Operating costs went up 1.4 percent year-on-year to 7.9 billion yuan in the first half.
Newly signed contracts in the first half fell 7.1 percent year-on-year to 11.76 billion yuan, and total contracts on hand reached 27.23 billion yuan as of June 30.
China Shipbuilding Industry realized an industrial output of 11.99 billion yuan in the first half of 2010, up 19.8 percent year-on-year.
Industrial added-value grew 17.8 percent year-on-year to 2.78 billion yuan in the same period.
The share price of China Shipbuilding Industry lost 0.89 percent to stand at 8.93 yuan at 13:17.
