Chongqing Steel to become top shipbuilding steel mill in China
It is reported that the first phase project in Chongqing Steel new area with annual capacity of 6.5 million tonnes will come on stream next June. After this, Chongqing Steel is expected to become the largest shipbuilding steel production base in China In 2008, Chongqing Steel produced 1 million tonnes of shipbuilding plates, ranking eleventh among all of its rival fellows.
