Daewoo shipbuilding wins us$230 mln order from Singapor

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., South Korea's second-largest shipyard, said Tuesday it has signed a US$230 million order to build two container ships. The deal with Singapore's Neptune Orient Lines, the world's fifth-largest container shipping company, calls for Daewoo Shipbuilding to deliver the ships by the end of 2012, the shipbuilder said in a statement.
