Baosteel orders at JES International

Baosteel has continued its moves to build its own shipping fleet ordering a supramax bulker from JES International. Shanghai Baosteel Shipping has ordered a 57,000 dwt bulker from Chinese shipbulder JES International. The vessel is due to be delivered before 1 July 2011. Meanwhile Hong Kong owner Great Dragon International Shipping has also ordered a 79,800 dwt panamax to be delivered before 30 June next year.
