Russia eyeing Ukrainian Zorya Mashproekt and more shipyards
According to Mr Roman Trotsenko president of OJSC United Shipbuilding Corporation, the company is considering merging with two Ukrainian companies Zorya Mashproekt gas turbine scientific and industrial complex and OJSC Feodosiya More Shipyard.
He said that "Zorya Mashproekt is a very strong turbine plant which can produce gas turbines. More is a large shipyard that produces ships from light metal alloys and aluminium. The two companies are state companies which suffer difficulties with finding work and we could settle the issue if the companies integrate with the USC."
