Spain to invest EUR100m in the Kaliningrad shipyard
Spain contemplates an investment plan worth 100 million euros for the construction of a Kaliningrad shipyard to build fishing boats, Voice of Russia reports citing Andrei Krainov, the head of RosRybolovstvo.
"The Spaniards have a shipbuilding technology, which we do not," Mr. Krainov said, explaining the choice of partners on this project. According him the project will include the shipyards for the construction of medium-tonnage ships that are most in demand in Russia. "We have currently over 60 orders from various companies for the construction of such vessels" Mr. Krainov said, adding that RosRybolovstvo agency will hold a meeting in the Far East region to consider shipbuilding industry issues.
