Turkey rising in rank among shipbuilding nations

Binali Yildirim, Turkey’s Transportation Minister said Turkey rose to 5th from 23rd place in global shipbuilding order book.
Turkey has become a trademark in yacht and coaster building, added Yildirim at a ceremony held in the Tuzla Shipyards Zone.
Noting that more than 30,000 materials were used in shipbuilding, Yildirim said shipbuilding industry provided continuation of employment, as well as development of other sectors.
