Vinashin 2009 Revenue Growth Slowed Down To 6% - Report
Vietnam state-owned shipbuilding conglomerate Vinashin's revenue growth slowed down to 6% last year compared with annual growth around 30% the previous years due to the global economic crisis, state media reported Monday.
The company had pretax profit of VND1 trillion ($54 million) in 2009, online news provider VnEconomy said, citing Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh.
The report didn't provide a comparative figure.
It said Vinashin's customers last year canceled or delayed 15% of orders worth $4 billion.
