The court partially satisfies the claim of "Amkoyl" (Murmansk) to the shipyard "Nerpa" (Seal) The Arbitration Court of Murmansk region in its December 28 decision ruled partially satisfy the claim of "Amkoyl" (Murmansk) to “Ship Repair Plant "Nerpa” (Seal) JSC of Snezhnogorsk in Murmansk region, the head branch of "Center of Ship Repair “Zviezdochka” (Asterisk) JSC) to recover 4 million 288 thousand 324.54 rubles. The court ruled to exact from the defendant 1.78 million rubles.
The claim was accepted to be reviewed on Oct. 5, 2009, reminds the ITAR-TASS. The plaintiff sought to recover from the Nerpa shipyard penalty for late payment of principal on a contract for delivery of petroleum products from July 27, 2005.
Nerpa shipyard has been working since 1970. The company carries out repair and modernization of submarines and surface ships of the North Naval of Russia. The company also repairs civilian ships and scraps old nuclear submarines.
