China Shipbuilding to enter Taiwan's energy market
China Shipbuilding Industry Co Ltd, the country's largest shipbuilder, is seeking cooperation for development in the new energy and wind power industries in Taiwan, said Deputy General Manager and Chief Accountant Zhang Biyi, sources reported.
Zhang is a member of the Chinese delegation that recently arrived in Taiwan. The delegation is led by Chen Yunlin, chairman of China's Association for Relations across the Taiwan Strait.
China Shipbuilding Industry, which made its debut on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Dec. 16, raised RMB 14.72 billion from its IPO by selling nearly 2 billion A shares at RMB 7.38 apiece, according to China Knowledge's earlier report.
