Vinashin Transfers Stake In Bao Viet Holdings To State Firm
State-owned Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corp., or Vinashin, said Friday it has transferred all its 20.4 million shares in Bao Viet Holdings to a state agency.
State Capital Investment Corp., or SCIC, will take over the shares from Monday, the statement said, without elaborating on any financial details.
Bao Viet Holdings has 573 million publicly traded shares and foreigners hold 13.55%, including a 10.31% stake owned by HSBC Holdings PLC (HBC), in the company, Hochiminh Stock Exchange data showed.
