Shipowner gathering to be held in Dalian
There’s just 48 days to go before the keenly anticipated International Shipowner & Service 2009 Convention to be held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian in China. Drawing speakers from both the local thriving shipping community as well as from overseas, the event’s topics mix shipmanagement with ecommerce and ship finance. The event is organized by Shipping Online Network (Chinese: www.sol.com.cn English: www.shippingonline.cn) and runs from September 24 to 25.
“The mission of this convention is to develop opportunities of building up long-term sustainability and creating a new round of prosperity,” the organizers said.
Of particular interest to visitors from overseas will be the opportunity to meet a wide breath of Chinese shipowners, both large and small - from Cosco to coastal players.
