6,500 DWT tanker handed over

The Pha Rung Shipbuilding Industry Corporation officially handed over the 6,500 DWT oil and chemical-carrying vessel, Hong Kong Pioneer to the shipowner Heung-A Shipping Co., Ltd (Korea) on July 31. This kind of vessel has complex structure and it requires high accuracy and techniques. The vessel is 110m long, 18.2m wide and the water-line is 8.75m. Hong Kong Pioneer has a capacity of 7,300 m3 and the exploitation speed of 13 nautical miles an hour in total conformity with international conventions.
