Vietnam: Shipbuilders launch cargo vessel

The Bach Dang Shipbuilding Industry Corporation unveiled its newest cargo vessel of 22,500 tonnes, named Lucky Star, in the northern port city of Hai Phong. The ship, 153.2m long and 26m wide with a capacity of 6,230 horse power, is capable of moving at 14.5 miles per hour. It was designed by Vinakita, a joint-venture between Vinashin and Japan’s Kitada.
