Changxi Shipyard Co., Ltd. covers the land area of 870,000 square meter and the water area of over 90,000 square meter, thereof the area of the workshops is 116,000 square meter and the production area is 564,000 square meter. The river front of the company stretches over 2,000 meters. And the company has a 1,180-meter long & 20-meter width outfitting quay, where more than ten vessels of over 10,000DWT can be berthed alongside. There is a broad water zone in front of the quay, the depth is 30 meters for main voyage route and 8~14 meters for quay zone. At the both ends of the quay, there are three floating docks in 100,000DWT, 80,000DWT and 30,000DWT respectively. The company has one set of 60T floating crane, one set of 100T floating crane, 2sets of 3,200HP tugboats and 3sets of 900HP tugboats. The working platform of 30,000 square meter is built behind of the quay, which is equipped with a shelter for de-corrosive treatment and 7 sets of 20T gantry cranes. The company has one slipway in 50,000DWT, equipped with 2 sets of 120T gantry cranes, one set of 40T gantry crane and one set of 6T crane. At the west of the slipway, there is one outfitting pool of 250meter length and 80meter width, equipped with one set of 40T gantry crane and 2 sets of 25T gantry cranes. And also, there are two painting houses in 48m x 38m and 100m x 33m respectively. The company has 4 sets of numerical control plasma cutting machines, 2 sets of numerical control flame cutting machines. The steel construction workshop covers an area of 16000 square meter, equipped with one set of 63T crane, 2sets of 50T cranes, 2sets of 32T cranes, 5sets of 10T cranes and 2sets of 16T electromagnetic cranes as well as 3sets of numerical control roll machines, 2sets of numerical control plasma cutting machines and 3sets of numerical control flame cutting machines.
