Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard Co., Ltd. (GWS)has more than 40 years of experience in shiprepairing. Being capable of repairing 140 vessels annually under 200,000DWT of all types, GWS is not only one of the shipyards which repaired foreign ships in early stage, but also the biggest shiprepiring base in South China. Developing shiprepiring to become an international modernized shiprepiring base is one of the goals of GWS.

1,500 employees are working for Shiprepiring Division, including 180 senior engineers and engineers.

Possessing one 150,000DWT and one 15,000 DWT drydocks with advanced facilities and equipment, GWS has formed an integrated shiprepiring system. The repair berth is 1,200m long. Ten ships under 200,000DWT could be repaired at the same time in yard.

Adopted international standards and advanced shiprepiring technologies such as high efficiency welding and special painting.
