Ince & Co Germany bolsters corporate and finance capability in Hamburg

International law firm Ince & Co LLP announced today that the Hamburg law firm Schwenke & Partner has joined Ince & Co’s Hamburg office. Thomas Schwenke, senior partner of Schwenke & Partner will bring with him one associate, two paralegals and three business services staff, effective from 1 May 2017.

Thomas is an experienced lawyer specialising in corporate and finance in the shipping, offshore and renewable energy sectors. He was educated in England and the United States before moving to Germany to study law at university. He trained and worked for specialist corporate and finance law firms in London and Hamburg as trainee, associate and partner before establishing his own firm, Schwenke & Partner in 2000.

Thomas and his team joining Ince & Co’s Hamburg office follows the opening of Ince & Co’s Cologne office in October 2016 and the launch of Hamburg headquartered Ince Consultancy LLP in April 2016. Further afield, the firm has also recently opened in Marseille and moved to modern new offices in Hong Kong, Le Havre and London. In addition to Thomas joining, Ince & Co has made a total of eight lateral partner hires and five partner promotions since May 2016.
