Maersk's November Offensive: Detailed rate hikes on all trades
MAERSK Line has announced a wide range of increases in freight rates on all its major trade lanes starting November 1.
Freight all kinds moving from Shanghai to Rotterdam the rate will increase $975 per TEU, $1,750 per FEU and $1,800 per FEU reefer.
From Shanghai to Felixstowe the rate will increase $1,025 per TEU, $1,850 per FEU and $1,850 per FEU reefer.
From Shanghai to Aarhus, the rate will increase $1,000 per TEU, $1,800 per FEU and $1,850 per FEU reefer.
From Shanghai to St Petersburg the rate will increase $975 per TEU, $1,750 per FEU and $1,750 per FEU reefer.
In the Asia-Med trade, from Shanghai to Barcelona the rate will increase $625 per TEU, $1,150 per FEU and $1,200 per FEU high cube.
From Shanghai to Genoa, the rate will increase $775 per TEU, $1,450 per FEU and $1,500 per FEU high cube.
From Shanghai to Istanbul-Ambarli, the rate will increase $975 per TEU, $1,750 per FEU and $1,750 per FEU high cube.
From the Med to Asia, from Chonomorsk to Ningbo, Shanghai and Qingdao the rate will increase $560 per FEU. From Algeciras to Ningbo, Shanghai and Qingdao the rate will increase $400 per FEU and $2,000 per FEU reefer. From Genoa, the rate will increase $235 per FEU and $1,750 FEU reefer.
From Istanbul-Ambarli to Ningbo, Shanghai and Qingdao, the rate will increase $550 per TEU, $1,800 per FEU reefer. From Fos sur Mer, the rate will increase $440 per FEU and $1,800 per FEU reefer. From Novorossiysk the rate will rise $465 per FEU and $1,800 per FEU reefer.
From Port Said to Ningbo, Shanghai and Qingdao, the rate will increase $350 per TEU, $1,900 per FEU reefer. From Koper, the rate will increase $325 per FEU and $2,000 per FEU reefer. From Trieste, the rate will increase $300 per FEU and $2,000 per FEU reefer. From Casa Blanca, the rate will increase $500 per FEU and $3,000 per FEU reefer.

From Gdansk to Ningbo, Shanghai and Qingdao the rate will increase $475 per FEU and $1,575 per FEU reefer. From Gdansk to Yokohama, Kobe and Nagoya the rate will increase $725 per FEU and $1,900 per FEU reefer.
From Gothenburg to Ningbo, Shanghai and Qingdao the rate will increase $850 per FEU and $2,725 per FEU reefer. From Gothenburg to Yokohama, Kobe and Nagoya the rate will increase $1,015 per FEU and $3,225 per FEU reefer.
For wood, pulp and timber shipments from Gothenburg to Ningbo, Shanghai and Qingdao the rate will increase $800 per FEU. For the same commodity from Gothenburg to Yokohama, Kobe and Nagoya the rate will increase $1,015 per FEU.
For wood, pulp and timber shipment from St Petersburg to Ningbo, Shanghai and Qingdao the rate will increase $1,050 per FEU. For the same commodity from Gothenburg to Yokohama, Kobe and Nagoya the rate will increase $1,250 per FEU.
For wood, pulp and timber shipments from Riga to Ningbo, Shanghai and Qingdao the rate will increase $870 per FEU. For the same commodity from Riga to Yokohama, Kobe and Nagoya the rate will increase $870 per FEU.
