American Airlines Cargo opens new pharma cold chain facility
AMERICAN Airlines Cargo has recently opened the ExpediteTC cold storage pharmaceutical facility in Philadelphia, the company announced.
American Airlines said it is the only airline in the northeastern US with this state-of-the-art facility that can handle temperature-sensitive, life science and healthcare cargo.
Right in the "northeast pharmaceutical corridor", this high-tech facility has specially trained employees.
They are key to handling sensitive, valuable and potentially life-saving products shipped through the international cold chain, said the AA Cargo release.
This facility is a continuation of American's investment in the infrastructure to support the ExpediteTC time and temperature sensitive programme.
