In its start-up stage, JNS will select the ship types with mature and proven design in order to improve reliability in building quality ships. So far, JNS recommends the following ships to shipowners:
- 32500 DWT Bulk Carrier,designed by Shanghai Bestway Marine Engineering Design Co.,Ltd
- 53,800 DWT Handymax Bulk Carrier, designed by SDARI and once built by Chinese shipyards
- 27,000 DWT Greatlaker Bulk Carrier designed by SDARI and once built by CSSC shipyards
